Growing up in one of Treme's grand houses; taking walks through the lush Esplanade Ridge and picturesque French Quarter; and riding the streetcar through uptown New Orleans revealed environments and landscapes that fed and inspired the imagination. Gardens defined character and told the story of the place. Those rich experiences serve as references for projects that resurrect or create new places.
