The illustration for the development potential of 1031 Canal Street in New Orleans, is a synthesis of community analyses for the collapsed Hard Rock Hotel.
The Board of Directors for Vieux Carre Property Owners and Associates, advocates whose mission is to protect the tout ensemble of the French Quarter, chose to examine and publish their analysis in an effort to stimulate public discourse about preservation, land use and out-of-scale development in historic districts.
